Gertrude Contemporary introduce new futuristic stationery with a bold colour palette!
Fabio Ongarato Design (FOD) worked closely with K.W.Doggett Fine
Paper creating a new Gertrude Contemporary identity. It was launched
during the 2010 Melbourne Art Fair to coincide with the twenty-fifth
anniversary of the organisation. Forming part of FOD's ongoing
relationship with the institution, the new identity has been developed
as a system rather than a mark, drawing together the many aspects of the
organisation beyond the gallery spaces such as artist studios,
residency, curatorial, writing and publication programs.
FOD
developed a flexible identity to allow for the evolution of the brand.
With bespoke typeface, a new website, exhibition catalogues and a range
of printed collateral, these items form the beginning of the identity
system. The fluorescent colour palette, contrasting paper stocks and
typography launch a new future for Gertrude Contemporary, placing it
firmly within an international context.
