Everyone talks about the world without paper, but imagine for a second
what the world might be like if it were made entirely from paper. Well,
the studio at Qube Konstrukt have taken this idea one step further.
Qube
Konstrukt was engaged to a range of executions for the ‘my piece of
paper’ campaign for Skills Victoria. The work encompassed print
executions, television and an installation for the Royal Melbourne
Show. The brief for the installation was to build a 2.5 meter square
'city', made entirely of paper. All of the smaller components such as
vehicles, cranes, bridges and the smaller buildings were constructed in
the studio and then assembled off site with the paper base and the
tallest buildings, before being installed at the Show.

The Garden House is situated in an irreplaceable location at 85 Rathdowne Street, Carlton. It combines the best of city living with the stunning Carlton Gardens.
To capture these unique surroundings, Piccolo Developments sent renowned Australian photographer, Martain Mishkulnig on an artistic journey around the area. His brief was to capture the beauty the lies within close walking distance of the Garden House.
With each click of the camera, the number of steps from the site was recorded, demonstating the richness to be found in every direction.
This book illustrates his journey, starting with his first shot at 85 steps.

The Melbourne Design Guide is the friend you've always wanted to have.
There's a Chinese proverb that says "a book is like a garden, carried in the pocket" Well, that's not true for this book. Because it isn't just a garden, it's an entire city! Also, we really hope your pockets are big enough to fit this little 450-page tome.
It took over a year to make the guide, which was edited by Viviane Stappmanns, designed by Chase and Galley, and published by Alphabet Press.
The book consists of two part and can be read from either end. The first part invites you to explore design places and destinations in Melbourne, including architecture and art, fashion and furniture, object design and jewelry. Also, it contains the recommendations of dozens of creative folk as to where to dine and unwind. The second part, titled 'Learn', contains everything about local designers who don't have a public face or store, or whose work isn't visible from the street. It invites you to take a peek behind the scenes of the town's creative stage; learn about the work of its designers, architects and artists - and the threads that connect them.

Our brief to David Lancashire was to create something precious and with meaning. After the "up and down" year of 2009 we wanted to thank our customers with a beautiful Christmas keepsake. His answer was to create this angelic Christmas card showcasing the Keaykolour paper range from Arjowiggins.
Based on the song by Leonard Cohen and more recently made famous by the late Jeff Buckley, Hallelujah is a delicate piece, measuring just 70mm x 100mm, it features three different sets of laser cut wings, a bronze foil on the cover and bronze (PMS 876) ink throughout.
If you did not receive your copy of this petite little beauty and would like to see it for yourself, please contact our samples department or your KWD paper Rep.
Thank you to Gary Bowles from Arjowiggins for allowing us to create this gem.
